Linda is an award winning artist whose work reflects her love of French and American Impressionist styles and of plein air and studio painting. Her preferred medium is oil but she also enjoys oil pastel .
Her paintings are included in collections in the US, Europe & Africa. She also shows in galleries in St. Augustine & Jacksonville, Fl. & has completed private and corporate commissions.
Linda enjoys teaching classes & workshops, volunteers at St. Augustine 's Flagler Hospital Cancer Center sharing her creative spirit with fellow cancer survivers by promoting art as a highly effective tool in dealing with the stresses of treatment & recovery. Her classes are often joined by some of the oncolgists , nursing staff & other professionals as well.
A Massachusetts native and former travel industry employee, Linda's work is influenced by her travels and her New England background. Participation in plein air and other workshops in France and the US have expanded her painting experiences and living in St. Augustine offers an endless array of local and surrounding spaces which inspire her colorful work.
